Honda Brio Hatchback

Honda Brio Hatchback Model With Style And Good Level Of Features.

Straight lines and without appeal, and poor visual interior and boring are not synonymous with cheap car. At least for the Honda Brio Hatchback Model. The automaker thwarted rivals Toyota and Renault to present Honda Brio production, in the Hall of Thailand.

The compact concept derived from the New Small Concept, shown at the beginning of the year, won four doors and an even more refined, a surprise to the action range model. Shorter and wider than a Golf, Brio uses the famous brand compact architecture, which allows offering generous interior space with modest dimensions.

The aggressive looks have been joined by a sportier bumper and wheel complex. Moreover, the interior, although of simple design, is well equipped: it has air conditioning, electric windows and locks, automatic transmission, tachometer and a radio similar to the sedan City.
Of course, the configuration presented Honda Brio – that Honda still calls prototype – serves only to display their potential. The production Honda Brio Hatchback Model will be sold in India and Thailand from March 2011 will be simpler.

The Evo X is the Last Evolution

A mixed collection of comments have surfaced on blogs and forums ever since Gayu Eusegi, Mitsubishi’s Global Product Director, made several statements leading to the conclusion that the Evolution Generation X, will be the last of its kind. The Last Unicorn, the Last Airbender, the Last of the Mohican’s…

Eusegi said the current Evo X will be the final generation, telling Autocar: “There is still a demand (for the car), but we must stop.”

Mitsubishi has not taken part in the World Rally Championships in quite some time, so in a sense, they have been slowly inching their way out of the performance market for several years. In addition, the Evo only found a driveway among 2,046 homes last year, which isn’t too encouraging for the manufacturer to continue its production.

“Our influence now is EV technology,” confirmed Eusegi.

In the Evo’s place, Mitsubishi will be putting the majority of their eggs into the electric car market, such as the iMiEV. According to Edmund’s Inside Line, the EVO will remain in the Mitsubishi lineup for another three years (through 2013), but behyond that, Eusegi declined to comment.

In addition to axing the Evo; the Eclipse, Endeavor, and Galant will also most likely be saying their fond farewell’s to make room for another six electric vehicles to be added to the Mitsubishi lineup by the year 2015.

AutoEvolution has started a Facebook page to “Save Ferris”, or rather Save the Evo, by convincing Mitsubishi there is still a following for their race-inspired consumer car. Eusegi commented on these concerns by adding, “Maybe the world can change, and maybe someday we can do a motor race by electric vehicles—Maybe then we can enter the market again.”

Lamborghini Aventador Roadster rendered

The Lamborghini Aventador just made its debut a couple of days ago and already artists are at work rendering a different version of the sports coupe. What we’re looking at is an Aventador roadster version, and we like what we see. Don’t get too excited though; an actual production roadster version isn’t expected until 2014.
The Aventador Roadster will look similar to the coupe version, except that the engine cover and roofline will be adapted to fit the roadster style. This rendering shows it in a silky, pearly bright-white finish with a two-tone black/white leather interior, making it look absolutely stunning.

The Aventador is powered by a new 6.5-liter V12 engine with an AWD layout that produces 700 horsepower and 479 lb/ft of torque. This engine hits 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds while blasting off a top speed of 217 mph and a redline of 8,250 RPM. With a total weight of 1575 Kg, it will deliver a power to weight ratio of 2.25 Kg/hp.
